This time we suggest a Wine tasting in Montepulciano. The company we selected for you is a few km from Montepulciano, near the village of Valiano with its 19th century villa, small chapel and ancient underground cellar.

In the cellar of the winery guests are delighted and guided in the fascinating world of wine, with a tasting of their wines or a tasting dinner with the top wines of the company combined with traditional dishes prepared carefully by the chefs of the company.

Among the programs offered by the winery :

  • The midday winery tour starts at 12 pm with a visit to the estate vineyards and continues in the ageing cellars and vinsantaia, concluding with a 4-course wine paired gourmet meal in the elegant and panoramic Foresteria and tasting of 4 Top wines.

The wines that are offered are always IGT and include the Marzocco Chardonnay Toscana, the Grifi Sangiovese , the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the Vin Santo di Montepulciano …

The menu is prepared by the chefs using only organic and seasonal ingredients, many of which come from the vegetable garden. Special menus for vegetarians or celiac guests are also available on demand.

  • The visit with Tasting lunch is only available on booking and it is a service with offer to guests who reserve one of our accommodations.

These events are available from Monday to Friday during the months of March April and November.

From Monday to Saturday from May to October.

The Foresteria is open from March 21st to November 18th.

Total lenght of the activity : 3 hours

Max 12 people per reservation. Maximum seating capacity of luncheon terrace and inside dining room is 35 people.

All wines are available for sale in the Cellar Door of the company.

Among other proposals, you can choose :

  • Cooking classes : a way to know some traditional tuscan dishes such as pici pasta, sheep flan and grandmother’s cake, tomato garlic sauce etc. Organic and seasonal products are used.

The cooking lessons are designed for 4 up to 10 guests but single individuals or couples can be accepted on demand.
